@tonyisserious You clearly said "Rakim is shit", and added Wayne is on an equal level to him. You're wrong, and that's what I'm trying to say. Fuckwit.
-
@Phl3xable I'm obviously trying to convince you of something?
Oh my god, you really are a fucking idiot.
Tell me, who started this discussion?
Interesting, that would be you.
So then, I guess you are trying to convince me of something?
-
@tonyisserious What the fuck are you trying to prove? Don't say "nothing" because you keep replying, so obviously you're trying to convince me of something...
-
@Phl3xable You didn't prove it at all actually.
Not only that, what you just said wasn't even the reason why you replied in the first place.
What you just said is entirely irrelevant to the discussion, and you made an argument based on example.
Finally, you fucking complete idiot, I already told you I know nothing about lil wayne, you've listened to him far more than I have, so why would you even attempt to prove anything?
Think before you post next time please, fucking idiot.
-
@tonyisserious My main thesis is "Rakim is more talented than Wayne", and I proved it. Sorry.
-
@Phl3xable This is an even better way to end the argument.
You aren't even replying to whats being discussed.
There is no argument.
-
@tonyisserious What a pussy way of ending an argument, "I'm smarter so I don't need to reply". Clearly, you're too retarded to read ALL of what I am saying. I said "Rakim's lyrical abilities are far superior to Wayne's" and any idiot can see that. Judging by the amount of tributes, allusions and references in other artists songs, Rakim clearly was highly regarded among other artists in the music scene.
-
@Phl3xable So thats how you determine which rapper is better than other?
Whether or not they have tributes?
I guess I don't need to reply any longer, since clearly you are the one who has no idea what you are on about.
You don't even know why RATM did a cover, do your research.
-
@tonyisserious Yes, they have different styles, but there is still no denying that Rakim's lyrical abilities are far superior to Wayne's. Will Wayne have tributes to him in the decades to come? Not many, if not none at all. Rakim has already been alluded to in MANY other artists songs, and this cover by RATM is a perfect example of Rakim's effect on music.

@ROFlyoshi This is good, but the original by Rakim is a classic. Very skillfully made and thought up, you can see that by the lyrics and delivery.
