@utoobasaurus It was a little close than the beaver wanted to be! He had been slapping his tail at us in the adjoining pond to scare us oot of there!

When you least expect it!
It was the same as the rewarding video capture of a heron catching, positioning to eat and swallowing a ten inch fish, and then proceeded to carry on with a large live fish entering his stomach! His shudder says it all!
