During the tail end of the 93/94 NHL season, rookie Ziggy Palffy is awarded a penalty shot against John Vanbiesbrouck of the Panthers. The hockey world is introduced to Palffy's quick hands, and epic hair.

Sorry about the late start. There are several good replays, though.

  • @sweetdebster55 - he did not want no 68 ,Islanders foreced him to take it ..from commercial point of view

  • Ziggy Palffy= the fake Jagr ROFL

  • @Shelver92 Actually, he was not, Palffy and Jagr had already played together as juniors for national team of Czechoslovakia before they went to NHL. They knew and respected each other before this happend.

  • Palffy was a Jagr wannabe at this point in his career...same hair and same number!

  • This was the last game we wore our old uniforms.

2010-11 is very special for that reason, we FINALLY go back to the way we should look.

  • Nice!!! Many an Isle fan will be looking for this.
