@timmyholland Yes, that is Varndell, and yes, he is bloody quick. Unfortunately he also has the rugby brain of a concussed eel, and so cannot pass, kick, tackle, or, strangly, run with the ball.

I still don't understand why he doesn't start for Sale or England regularly. Both suffer from chronic un-creativeness and yet will leave one of the most exciting players out of the 22 or on the bench... madness.
At the moment England seem to win 50% games by grinding out a victory. If we won loads by stifling others creativity and the kicking game I wouldn't mind so much. But we don't! I wish we'd actually start playing positive rugby... =(

@plamicus fair point, but nowadays he hasent got a great chance of making the back 3 (ashton, foden , armitage/cueto) so maybe butting him inside tuilagi, half to tindall at 12 and half to tait??
