Conductor giving hand signals as #90 Couples to the "rear/front" of the train at the station. Conductor little upset they hit so hard, kinda funny. They ended up back up to the get slack out before they left.

  • They didn't hit hard at all. That was smooth, but that was the longest I have seen a crew take to couple a car.....

  • Yea, I agree...But you must agree the conductor sure had a look on his face! I thought they never would have got it coupled either...

  • Not hard coupling at all. VERY soft. Someone teach the conductor how to give hand signals also.

  • @WNxRadeon This is in the United States, not Germany; it's the Strasburg Railroad in Strasburg, Pennsylvania.

  • why is are there american couplings on a german train?

  • hard coupling? when i couple cars at the yard I work at, no matter how much warning I give, they usually hit at 5-6 MPH, (Fully loaded coal cars)
