Oral Roberts Dead at 91

One of the first of the televangelists, Oral Roberts, has died at 91. Roberts used TV to raise spirits, raise money, and once even claimed to raise the dead. Don Teague has the story.

My point is that if people who rejected Christ to his face can be forgiven because of what they just didn't know then (since God is no respecter of persons) it stands to reason that non-believers today can also be forgiven. Perhaps it's time for us to stop claiming to know who will go to hell & pray the prayer that Christ did. Why not ask God to have mercy on the whole world including atheists? Whatever we loose on Earth will be loosed in Heaven right? Radically different thinking I know. FYI.

@euroman32589 You misunderstood. If you read my other posts you would know that I am not agreeing with Christianity but rather finding fault with it. I am a former Christian but if I were going to pray (which I don't) it would be for everyone's salvation, not just to save my own ass. There is nothing wrong with caring about people, whether they appreciate it or not. But thanks for going out of your way to tell me not to care about you. The check is in the mail wise guy.
