Song title, "Boy In The Boat." Performed by The Rhythm Club Orchestra in Kansas City during the late 1990's.
This tune is from their CD entitled "Black & Blue Rhythm."
This is one of my favorite CD's of all time for music of the late 20's and early 30's
The Rhythm Club Orchestra is a ten piece band that San Francisco musician / arranger Michael Lande assembled from the best jazz musicians in Kansas City, Missouri, a place that has a splendid jazz history of which it is rightly proud. And this generation of jazz players upholds that tradition in grand style, rendering twenty-three excellent tunes from the late 20s and early 30s in a hot ensemble style reminiscent of the great "territory" bands of that illustrious period.
Below is a link where you can obtain the full CD for about 15 Dollars. It is loaded with 22 or 23 tunes that are all absolutely delicious!

Very handsome bird! I believe this is a peregrine falcon (obviously waiting for some cardinal, or something to come bathe.)

Dear Ida,
It is a recording of the Rhythm Club Orchestra. They were together only for a couple of years here in the Kansas City area. The leader was a fella named Michael Lande. They cut one CD, and it is avalable on the Web. There are several other numbers on the CD that are soooo deeelishus!
Thanks for your comment,

Ha, this bird has life figured out! So funny that on my way to Bogus Basin to ski, there was a hawk perched on a snag looking out o'er the foothills. I get home and you have posted this hawk video. I mean, it doesn't get any weirder than that. A total random connection...twilight zone here we come!! 5 freaky stars!!
