  • Samir Amin is kind of far out on his points. I think the crisis will only strengthen neoliberal capitalism. Even the nationalists in European countries will in the long term become part of the neoliberal ideology because they will support industry, corporations and capital rather than groups that can stop neoliberalism (worker unions, state owned enterprises and banks, welfare options outside of the market)
