  • Those knee pads are actually a pair of Asterisk motox ergonomic knee braces, and yes I've worn them in the tree for over ten+ years now.

    They're about 600 bucks a pair.

The custom 20 inch tall wesco highliners are about 550 bucks a pair now.

This setup is fantastic for removal climbers who spend most their day on gaffs.

  • Those are the most righteous Wescos I have ever seen. Would be most proud to own them.

  • Just did a 'Google' of

'Asterisk Motox ergonomic knee braces' you were right on they are running about 599, one place had em on sale for 499, but man are they ever 'the shite' as they say, and please excuse my French ! Might just be worth saving up for a set of those puppies, they are just sweet, surely wouldn't need another pair ever again. Thanks Jo,

    -Grais.

  • Thank J man, I forgot that I had asked about these and then saw a pair of knee pads in a store today and remembered. Funny how life sends you little reminders,ha. At 600.00 bucks not sure Ill be running out too grab a set, but I know the knee pads they make for Skateboarding are pretty beefy. Wouldnt have the ergo braces of course, but they are tough. Ive often wondered as to how much more support the 'Highliners' give over say a 10"-12" top, no doubt youve worn both, and prefer the HL's.

    thx

  • Hey great pics of some worked boots, I am curious about the knee pads pictured, I got tender knees, great trait for a climber right, but you live with what you got! So, you ever climb in that set up, and if so, if it works, how much and where did you find em. Thanks J,

    -Grais.

  • Damn, at the going price at Wesspur of $399 for a pair that comes out to $50 per year, damn great value in my eyes! Got to get me some of them lol!
