  • thank you so much! this was just the advice I was looking for. Very helpful!

  • THANK YOU so much for this info. I bought a braided 3 stem marginata from Lowe's for $10 but it is much much smaller right now :) I did find some info on how to care for them but didn't really understand what they were talking about because I don't know much about plants. I like that you posted a video because now I can actually see what I'm supposed to do; I want to make sure it lives a long time!

  • Thank you for the info. What does Hash light mean ? Also,do I ever add a good fertilizer to these plant's.I have a product called Flora-Nova. Any suggestions ?

  • Indirest light means no hash light. I would suggest keeping them all clear of beng right next to a window. A lot of the tropicals cannot be in direct light and you can keep them more towrds the center of your rooms.

  • I recently bought 10 large tropical plants from Home Depot because they were on sale for $10.00 each which I thought was a very good price.I have no idea how to take care of them. The tags on them say to give them indirect light but what does that mean ? Can I set them on the floor next to a window ? Is that enough light ? Do they need fertilizer, and do they need to be transfered to a larger pot to prevent root binding? One of the plants is a Croton(Codiaeum hybrid) Thanx ,Howard
