@gianttree - can you expand further on the best way to respond to 6. ...Ng4!? I haven't found much info online on how best to play against this move.
-
Why does everyone post the same line when we can clearly see gianttree's, posted two years ago, at the top? lol

After 10. f3, Ne3 11. Qd2, Bxd4, white is in a lot of trouble.
-
Just one mistake.
Instead of Ng4-e5? Better continuation is Ng4- e3. Qd1-d2 or Qd1-d3, THen you go Bxd4, Qxd4?, Nxc2+, winning a queen.
-
I like it!

Ne3 is winning, if the queen moves then Bxd4, wins a piece since if white recaptures then Nc2+ winning the queen!

"After f3 the game is not important?. That pretty much misses the point. This is a nice game in that it highlights a number of key themes that black uses in different sicilians. Also, ne3 doesn't appear to be "winning" as white just moves the queen up a square, retakes with the rook and castles long. Not great, but white doesn't do that well in the actual continuation either.

Very high quality of play here on a blitz game, I enjoyed the video and thanks for it.
Hi,
I know this 6. ...Ng4!?line quite well and therefore I want to give a comment:
The ending is quite nice, but considering the fact that your opponent made the horrible mistake 10. f3 (??) the game is not important.
Your 10. ...Ne5 (??) is again a huge mistake,
10. ...Ne3! is simply winning. 11. Qd2 Bxd4 and white will not be happy any more.
12. Qxd4 fails to 12. ...Nxc2+, winning the Queen, and otherwise white's position is also desperate.
Next time you can punish 10.f3 easier ;-)
