I mean each state vote counts. Not each individual vote, though they effect state votes.

The thing is the US isn't a democracy, it is a republic. The elections depend on state votes. Basically if The majority of certain states vote for one guy that guy wins the votes, even if on an aggregate total more voted for the other guy, but were more evenly spread around the states. basically if 49% vote for one guy, but 51% the other, those 49 aren't figured because they lost the state vote. That is why it is the United STATES of America, not just America. Each state votes, not each person.
