Including excerpts from a documentary film called The Listening Project, this video features Han Shan, an American who travelled to Afghanistan to find out what Afghani people think of the U.S. Outside of Kabul, he met innocent people whose lives were torn apart by U.S. military action.

  • Like the Germans, these people should be asking themselves why these bombers are flying overhead in the first place.

Every action is going to get an opposite and equal reaction. Innocents always die in war, but that so many others can live.

I don't feel bad because of the many innocents killed in WWI or WWII. We had to do what had to be done. War is hell.

  • Great Job. Han Shan is the man!
