@DDSproductions08 Don't waste your time trying to educate these idiots. That is their religion and they will never see the light. Peace .

@dalecampbl5 you're right. Those 2 trillion dollars were all put in a big hole in iraq and covered up with sand. They didn't do anything as outlandish and spend it on items that require workers to build(humvees, tanks, planes, helicopters etc.) and honest working marines and soldiers. NO no no, that's crazy, they threw it down the toilet. Fuckin' idiot.

fake christian talkers liek GWBush and other Republicans have done a mighty fine job of making sure we all don't have jobs. $2 trillion in Iraq down the toilet, a few more $ trillion in tax cuts for the rich. It's no wonder people are protesting. Come on out, you fake Christian talkers!

@MRTEL7777 One important thing to remember is to start any business it requires capital. Right now the US under Obama is not business friendly. I'm a recent grad with an Economics degree, and with that I am thinking of starting a business if I don't get a job within the next few months. The good thing is I don't have much debt. There's a lot of other young grads who have incurred astronomical debt. They can't get any more loans to start a business if they wanted to.

@SamDeRe81 It is impossible to get a GOVT job right now even if you are a veteran.

PPL STOP COMPLAINING AND CREATE YOUR OWN JOBS NOW!!!!!!!!!!! STOP DEPENDING ON EMPLOYERS HIRING YOU. THE PROBLEM IS THAT STUDENTS GRADUATE FROM COLLEGE AND GET A FANCY DEGREE SO THEY CAN GET HIRED. NO ONE DOESN'T WANT TO CREATE JOBS ANYMORE PEOPLE JUST WANT TO WORK 4 SOMEBODY. THIS COUNTRY HAS NO INNOVATION. WHO CAN BLAME THEM OUR PUBLIC SCHOOLS NEVER THOUGHT US HOW TO CREATE JOBS.

If you guys think it's bad to not get a job in a bad economy...imagine how bad it feels when you can't get a job during a good economy..lol.

i had a good paying job as a manager at an assembly plant for 9 years, then they closed and moved the company to Honduras, so i went back to college and got a degree in HVAC technology and service, i graduated almost 2 months ago, and im on the job search, ive looked all over 4 different cities and found nothing, ive looked into the big paying jobs, and also the little paying jobs, even the minimum wage shitty cleaning jobs are taken, its stressful and depressing.
I graduated in 2002 from a respected University. Was laid off when the economy first turned. The timing was a blessing in disguise b/c in the last year..the bar I took work in is flooded daily with applications. I am glad to have a job. But something else to keep in mind, 4 out of 5 of the other bartendars I work with have graduated within the last few years. Also, I almost started my Masters last fall, but changed my mind at the last minute. I can't believe how much tuition has gone up!!!

It's so important for alumni clubs to provide support, tips, and help. I hate to see people who've successfully completed their degrees languishing and hopeless. U of I's Alumni Career Center recently did an excellent web-panel with three folks who used their services and did successfully get jobs, eventually. Things didn't happen overnight for any of them, but what they learned during that process was invaluable, and they shared it with the rest of us.
