Vintage Nintendo running Midines in NESFX mode.
These are the default visualisations for the sounds you are hearing. NESFX seems to be state dependent, so it looks different every time you run the sequence. Both sound and video are from the NES.

can you harness the NES as a playable, live instrument, or only a plugin/virtual-instrument to create/produce music?
