No body in right frame of mind ever thought that Mir wanted to demean any community, what so ever. Obviuosly, his target was the celebrities..that's why audience loves mimicry. Never seen Mir mocking a physically challenged person, say a lame person.

On the contrary, Ritu came with a pre-determination to demean to a guest in a TV show! Going by his logic of hurting the minority even P C Sorcar would say Mir hurts magicians'. Not every body is magician !!

Rituda, i dn't think Mir had an intention to hurt a minority that u meant. But it's also true, he never thght, he might hurt somebody or some minority. So, Mir must be very carefull about whatever he does in future. But Rituda i also agree with u whatever u hve said. But imitation cld be also an art and an imitator should be free to imitate anybody if he only likes the personality. And not becoz he is belong to some particular community. That would be something real unfair. Thanks

@neo076123 - I think what Rituporno said is that 'photography, only as documentation, is not an art. But when photography evolved to depict something more than just documentation, is became a form of art'. In simpler words, wedding pictures or photos of people's travels, taken purely for documentation, is not an art. However, photography on portraits, nature, landscape etc, where the photographer is communicating much more, is artistic.

d)you cant talk abt independence of artist at one hand and talk like this on the other,if a paoli dam can expose nude and that becomes art,then why cant mimicry be? you can say mimcry hurts the person on whom its done,but so does the nude scene in the movie hurts the person who dont really like it,you cant stop it..there is no logical end to this,so rituparna ghosh should STFU!!

what R.Ghosh should realize is,

A)you cannot please everybody and lead a LIFE.

B)its not only about mimicry,any form of art may not be fyn with many people,what you dont consider art,and what you consider art is purely subjective.

c)i can say that rituparna ghosh has shown half nude/sex scenes in his films which I DONT CONSIDER art,and DONT consider to be any need to b given in that film,does that mean i invite rituparna ghosh in my home and insult him?
