Tacoma Times reporter Ted Morello, insist that a mysterious telephone informant had told him what had taken place in the hotel room interviews of the people involve with the UFO incident with Harold Dahl. Also present were by Lt. Brown, Capt. Davidson, Kenneth Arnold and others.
The same mysterious informant that kept calling Morello stated the B-25 bomber from Hamilton Field had been shot down by a 20mm cannon soon after the crash.
The Tacoma Times later on the day of the crash put a front page headline 'Sabotage Hinted in Crash of Army Bomber' at Kelso and a sub-headline of 'Plane May Hold Flying Disk Secret' the article written by Paul Lance.
The article by Paul Lance stated the plane had been sabotaged or shot down to prevent shipment of flying disk fragments to Hamilton Field, California, for analysis. The disk parts were said by the informant to be those from one of the mysterious platters which plunged to earth on the Maury Island recently and that twelve hours before the Army released official identification gave correctly identity of the dead in the crash with confirmed report by an intelligence officer that the B-25 Bomber had been carrying classified material.
However Paul Lance, two weeks later died and the pathologist who studied his body for 36 hours could not find any cause to his death (reasons unknown).
In the Longview Daily article titled Springer Arrives to See Crash Scene published shortly after the crash, provided a different explanation for the officer's investigations.
Information by The Daily News concerning the flight indicating that the aviators, Capt. William L. Davidson, San Francisco, and 1st Lt. Frank M. Brown of Vallejo took off from McChord Field bound for Hamiliton Field, California, early Friday morning to gain some night flying time on their logbooks.
Seattle Post-Intelligencer I.N.S. article states a Fourth Air Force officer verified Capt. Davidson and Lt. Brown¹s deaths but stated that the report that their ill-fated bomber was returning with classified or secret material was just a flight of fancy no such things of flying discs or secret missions,
Apparently there was another key witness to this episode of UFO history name Fred Crisman; whose character would be as mysterious as his allegations of him was having CIA links and with John Kennedys assassination.
This inclusion with the case could have likely established the origins and existence of one version of the Men in Black (provided by the hidden government). The story tells of mysterious informants to the media by using the elements of psych-ops and propaganda through disinformation campaigns.
The UFO Hunters did a great job with this episode doing the crash scientific forensic testing and analysis to determine materials although the whole thing seems to be hurried for time.
Just wish they re-open more about this case since there are so many people looking into this with more investigation materials and research that warrants more justice for the efforts. Behind all of what is in this episode would be more conspiracy in the history behind the case.

Captain Davidson was my 2nd cousin. Of course we've found all of this very interesting. I've had about 4 UFO sightings myself.
