That was the first nuclear test conducted at Novaya Zemlya. It was an underwater test of torpedo warhead. Over 30 ships were placed up to 5249 feet off the explosion. One ship was sunk by the explosion.

@puncheex Yeah... with our technology we made it worse. In the old times, when there was no guns, soldiers used their swords but at least there was no missing bullets, explosions that destroys the land and it's beauty and no civilian casualties, unless it was meant to kill civilians. Now, we have so much technology that people have made weapons to destroy, not to win an argument, but to destroy the enemy and his land. That's very sad

@puncheex well... when governments don't agree on things, they should keep their laws and government inside their own territory. If a president don't agree with other president, they send people who has nothing to do with the disagreement to kill each other to make their point destroying families and wasting millions of dollars in weapons while hunger keeps on taking lives. I would say that's the lowest mankind has sunk.
