I totally agree with this video. I was 13 when I got diagnosed with UC. And if you thought kids were mean when you're normal then picture this people called me constipated B****. I spent the whole year not being able to talk because of ulcers in my mouth and i had to hear that. I am now 22 and DO NOT tolerate that kind of abuse. You rock girl! Teens need more awareness about this illness and others. I had a little flare two days ago. cured that with milk of mag and some other laxitives.

i got diagnosed with U.C 6 weeks ago and im on prednisone and remicade and pentasa, im not having blood or pain anymore, so things are going good :) sry for bad english

i was diagnosed with U.C when i was 12 and im 15 now, i was in the hospital for a month and this video helped me alot i dont like talking about it either and i think ur really strong for puting this video up. thank-you so much

I have ulcerative colitis too! I got diagnosed at age 15 right before starting my sophmore year at school. I was in and out of the hospital all year, and I couldn't go to school at all. I had 3 surgeries this year to cure my U.C because no meds were working. But I found out that my U.C is back three days ago. Stay strong!!(:

Im new to UC also. Im 15 and got diagnosed early this year. Im on asacol, 6 mp and prednisone. Is anyone else on these and r the medications supposed to help prevent flare-ups or symptoms?
