guys for me the definition of a filipino native song is a song we got from our ancestors and most of it we dont know who wrote or made a tune for it....am i right?...??

So if this is Filipino then who is the artist? Is the artist unknown or like from one of the ethnic tribes in sulu? I originally thought it was Indonesian.

If you listened to the "original version" which is 10 mins long (its posted in this channel), you will notice that the majority of the lyrics of this modern version are directly copied from the original version but garbled (e.g. "kinubita a mandi "in the original version was changed into "kyinuonba a panty" in the modern version; "Kiriring Pakiring" to "Piriripi Piririp" etc.) It appears that the singer/composer does not speak nor understand the original dialect used in the original song.
