8 LED Strobe Flashing Deck Dash Warning Light

The strobe light is a slim, dash-mounted warning light which utilizes generation III, or TIR (Total Internal Reflector) LED technology. It is available for order in solid or split color combinations. The strobe light packs in 3 astonishing flash patterns, which are selectable by the user via a momentary switch located on the rear of the light.

The light comes with an adjustable bracket which allows you to angle it, suctions pads which let you attach it wherever you like on your dashboard or windscreen and simply plugs into your car's cigarette lighter charger.

I had this lights little brother, the 4 LED version. It had three major flaws. 1) The plug is unfused and shorted out the fuses in my car repeatedly. I solved this by replacing the plug with a fused one. 2) The heads rotation is limited by the height of the switch. 3) There are no proper heat sinks on the back of the LEDs. The first time I ran this light for more than 5 minutes in a three of the LEDs failed. These lights are inexpensive, but they are not well made.

the problem with this light and many other cheap inferior chinese manufactured lights available on ebay are not safe to use and definitely not safe to clear traffic with and respond to a scene.

I've got the same and sometimes they are working a few hours long witout any problem. 4 led and 8 led. And I can turn off the engine !

If you are in the service sector and depend on light that have to work continually because life is at stake, DON'T settle for cheap lights. Invest in reliable lights such as Whelen or Federal Signal. Remember you get what you pay for. Why spend money on lights that only last a week or less. That money is then gone in the trash. If I was responding to an emergency and it so happens that YOU were injured, I have my cheap lights running and they fail while I am assisting you. We both are in danger
