The Pakistani Taliban has killed more than 100 people in recent high-profile attacks. Pakistan's Interior Ministry called the escalation of violence a "guerrilla war," and Taliban leaders pledged to continue to hit government targets ahead of an expected army offensive against militants in South Waziristan. The violence comes as Islamabad and Washington sort out Pakistan's objections over conditions attached to a five-year, $7.5 billion civilian aid bill, signed by President Obama Thursday. VOA's Ravi Khanna has the story.
