@xbarbiefacex Crosby was one of the first to make use of electric microphones and was therefore able to "croon" instead of needing to use full voice to reach the back of auditoriums. Also he was a good friend and student of Louis Armstrong, both of them smokers of marijuana. Bing was also instrumental in the development of magnetic audio tape.
