from the moment they walked in my house called me mommy and when we let them stay longer i was sissy and my mom was mommy. they have a home now but some dont. some get trampled until they die. btw im 12 now and im more mature than girls my age because of stuff ive been through. treat everyone u meet with respect b/c u dont know the pain they hide behind that cheerful smile. ppl like me learn to hide away their feelings and one day itll hurt bad.

There is always the childline website. Tell someone about it, it'll definately help even if it doesn't seem like it. Just search child abuse in google and you should get your answer. Good Luck! xxx

I have never been abused, I don't know anyone who has-I hope-but every time I turn on the news, a child has been beaten and/or neglected. What is wrong with people? A child so unable to fight back, and if you didn't want the kid, there is such this as adoption. This song is my personal favaorite because, I think, Alyssa going to be with Jesus is a very happy ending. I hope someone agrees

This reminds me of 1st grade when a girl named Alyssa told me her aunt was my stepmom now but then I didn't know her... Well I went home and asked my mom who that girl Alyssa was talking about my mom cried and the next day we moved... A few weeks later I got news from my dad I had a stepmom.......I have hated her ever since ;)

a friend told me about this song and I decided to look it up, I cant believe that child abuse is so horrible, I cried so hard. I know someone who is mentally abused but she doesnt want to leave her home because she says its worth it, and I cant do much about nothing for her it seems......

@animeangelkindsey So you must be 15 like me =] and i agree no1 knows what your hiding with a mask. No1 pays attetntion to the marks on u if ur the quiet person in class. Then wen u die they wonder hw it cood happen. My friends n I have the same prob we help each other out everyday. And we love each other and were helpin out lil kids tht r like alyssa so they wont lie..

When I first found this song I cried so hard I couldn't breathe right for over an hour. At first when I say the title when my dad told me to watch it it was some kind of prank cause my name is also Alissa just spelt a little different. Then I lisent and I couldn't handle it. I hardly ever cry but this broke me. Always remember this is happening in your same school or even class or mabye your best friend. NEVER TURN YOUR BACK, EVER
