You know, I find it kind of funny. Whether or not global warming is real ( won't argue it either way) don't you think it'd be really stupid of you NOT to be prepared, or find ways to prevent it? That's kinda like the people who smoke and think they can't get lung cancer. "You just made that up to make me stop smoking." lol.

@endersblade No it's not stupid NOT to be prepared. Because the only preparation they're proposing is a massive transfer of wealth to third world countries. And MASSIVE increases in the prices of electricity and gasoline. Since the "cure" would impoverish billions of people and do more damage than warming itself - no it's definitely not smart to be "prepared"! This is nothing more than a Marxist grab for power and money.

It's not science when you cite newspapers, blogs or homer. it's not science, when you talk about things you don't understand. it's not science, when something what you don't understand ist automatically wrong. And it's science, when complex systems behave akward outside of their balance. everything else is written down, read books, study things and criticize climate models in a scientific way, not with Simpson videos. And what me makes most thoughtful: Homer mostly was the dump one, get it.

@MrSelfHater Couple of things. One, global warming is a misnomer, and should be referred to as climate change. Two, climate change is technically theory (like gravity, or electromagnetism). Look up the definition of theory if you don't believe me. And three, you don't "believe" in science. In order for science to work, you provide evidence for or against a hypothesis (or theory): no belief involved. And four, ad hominem is a wonderful thing, don't you think?

@jcncnc 1. Hide the decline refers to northern tree ring growth in upper latitude trees which do not correlate well with temperature- thus they get rid of faulty data (which if they incorporated would make global warming look even MORE dramatic).

2.the data is all shared: it's subject to peer review. You are obviously unfamiliar with the scientific method.

3. specific weather events are NOT contrary evidence.
