Mostly images of movie theaters in various states of decay. Some are still standing, some are long gone. The music is Regina Caeli (Motet for 3 Voices) by Chanticleer from the 2004 album of music of William Byrd, "Byrd: Music For A Hidden Chapel" on the Harmonia Mundi label.
Hello Mook. Again. I saw Chanticleer @ Finney Chapel in Oberlin,Ohio about 4 years ago. Really Wonderful.. One of the last songs sung was "If Ever I Would Leave You" by I know not what his name. But was plain beautiful. Wish I'd bought the cd-but the table was too busy. Emile Norman loved them too, from a PBS special I saw about Mr. Norman. Happiness is music. All from Bix. Yes. " Bix Lives ".

Thank you for this brilliant montage of images from my hometown. I will now pour myself a stiff drink. E.

Beautiful and sad, haunting, and utterly symbolic on so many levels. The parking lot shot with the ceiling still hovering above... Thank You: another 'masterpost' -

Its the same in the UK, where I grew up there were five cinemas, only one remains. It is still working, and being maintained, but the others are long gone. This is a lovely combination of images and music, as always. Thank you MookRyan.
