Lol Yes I understand the number order but I was also given other products to purchase, such as Time Defiance Illuminating essence and the refinishing lotion that came with the microdermabrasion kit. They both say to use morning and night so does that matter which I use first after the toner? Or should it even be used together?

Ahhhh, my bad. Well all of Artistry's products are made to be used together so as long as you use the Illuminating Essence & refinishing lotion after your 3 step system it should be fine. you just want to make sure your skin is clean before using thoes. otherwise its almost like your sealing in the dirt.

I will however double check that. It never hurts to double check!

as far as the using them both in the morning and night, thats a general directions for everyone for the best results. the directions are not individualized. so you know your skin best, you should decide how often to use it. scine your getting dry flaky skin, i would try using it once a day.

if after that your still having problems, you can call the customer service and return the products if you like with our "no questions asked" full refund policy. Another reason why i love Artistry!

6) final step, apply the lotion, apply liberal amount until you feel your skin sufficiently hydrated. you are ready to go!

toner is designed as final cleanser and to prep the skin before you put anything further on. make sure you clean your skin using the cotton until you see no color (impurities/dead skin cells) left on the cotton, then only you proceed.

4) after you completely toner the skin, apply a small amount of illuminating essence and make sure it absorbs into the skin, just sweep on your skin.don't rub.

5) apply small amount of refinishing lotion the same way as you do in 4).

Hi Kagen10,

If your skin is dry, here are the steps;

1) cleanse your face by using the cleanser.

2) just use polishing scrub only 2 times a week. you need to wash your face with lukewarm water and rub in a circular motion with a gentle force on your skin. never press it into the skin, avoid eye area. rinse with cool water and towel dry your skin.

3)saturate cotton with your toner, make sure this time you sweep the cotton properly onto the skin (I spend most of my time here)
