5/23/10... more excerpts from Episode #460... and I'd better explain this for everyone who's never seen the Funday Pawpet Show before, which will be at least half of my subscribers...

A regular segment of the FPS is "Subservient Guest", where the guest is shown in Yappy's actual living room, taking live requests (or more accurately, accepting dares) from the audience in the chatroom, in the manner of Burger King's "Subservient Chicken" webpage.

Most of the people who do this have quite a bit of experience wearing fursuits. I, however, did not. The only time I'd ever had all the pieces on was just before I drove to the show, because I had to learn in what order to put them on. And LaserWolf is only a partial; he's designed to be worn with regular human formalwear. I have no idea how people in full body suits manage.

So it starts off with some of the usual shenanigans; check out where I'm trying to "dance a jig" and I realize that I can't cross my feet at the ankles to execute the one jig-like dance move I know. How embarrassing! And before long they've got me singing. I didn't do too bad, considering I was beginning to hyperventilate in my sauna-like trappings. And yes, Blitz (the camera operator) was the one who requested Huey Lewis; I didn't even notice they'd asked for Tiny Tim until I was watching this after the fact.

This is basically the best stuff from this particular Subservient segment. The whole thing, including an impromptu performance of "This Commission" and some of the worst piano playing I've ever done in my life, can be downloaded at pawpet.tv, episode #460.

Now Poink can return to his regularly scheduled porn surfing. ;)

I was barely aware of Trololo and probably couldn't have even faked it. Maybe next time. :)

  • We never really got that Trololo from you at the end :D

  • @OreoTheWolf

    Got me there. :)

One thing I do notice, watching this from the front, are those awkward moments of "how am I going to pull this off?" My puzzled facial expressions are hidden, and I don't always have corresponding body language to indicate that I am actually in frantic thought. Since I designed Laser to be a talking character, I didn't think that would be so much of an issue, but it apparently still is; he works better when he's in near-constant motion.

  • You definitely look like you have more fursuit experience than you do. It's probably because of all the fursuiting you watched others do, and it just rubbed off on you.
