Creative Zen 32 GB blinking screen issue

I bought my Creative Zen 32GB back in March '10. I also bought the rubber covering to protect it as well. I have had no problems with it before this issue. Now will not respond to charging or resetting. Also, my computer does not recognize it when it is attached so I cannot update the firmware. If anyone has any knowledge of how to fix this issue, please comment or message me.

btw, I don't know if this is with all electronic mp3 players but rarely I get static electricity which require me to get a pin and push in the reset button. Has that happened to you? It doesn't happen often to me, probably like once a year if not less, its a very rare occurrence just something odd I noticed about the zen I have. I don't lose any of my mp3 data tho.

@JayFeliceW I had to send mine to the Creative repair facility and they sent me a new one so it's all good now. Since I received my new one, I haven't had any problems.

Thats dumb luck man, I've had my 32gb creative zen for about 3-4 yrs with a plastic covering to protect it from getting damage. We have exact same one except mine didn't f-up. I can tell it same one cuz of the look to your zen and my 32gb aswell. Hope you get your problem fixed or a refund or something. But the zen is a great mp3 player cuz of its small size and it easily fits in my jogging pants when I jog and it barely moves while I jog!
