Laser Gun Effect - Screen Test

Made a laser gun prop but I needed an DIY effect as i do not have a program like aftereffects. here's my attempt using stills shots made in Paint Shop Pro

How can a laser gun have a kick back its not shooting bullets

Maybe it's a rail gun. (Firing a small metal projectile at near light speed) and we just used the word LASER to get you to watch??? Come to the dark side. the cookies are almost finished. :)

@JOlV4TH4lV A laser gun would still have a kick-back, because the energy is building up inside the gun before dispersing, and that would create a fairly good jolt. So there probably would be a kick back on a laser gun.
