I have this album, "Killer Kountry"...Elektra Records...1980. He was with Mercury Records in the early 70's...then Elektra in the late 70's and 80. Good Post Kevin! Haven't heard in a long time...I rarely play my old vinyl albums.

Killer Country includes some great songs. My favourites are: "I´ll do it all again" (And he means it), "Over the Rainbow" (He turns Judy Garland´s version upside down) and "Late Night Lovin´ Man". I still have the vinyl record and it still sounds great. Jerry Lee Lewis is the true rocker, he lived the rock style life before it became fashionable. And he payed for it

say it is 1980? maybe! I knew that in 1971, and that the album is titled "killer country".
In internet if you search the text of the song, is dated 1971 with Electra recording label.
Apart from this, it's a beautiful song :-)
