  • You will need to find the serial number for the engine. It should be mounted on the front or the side of the transom brackets.

  • No you do not need to ground all the wires. set the carbs initially at 1.5 turns

  • How can I tell what year my 35hp mercury outboard is?. I just got it from a friend and need to know what to do to start putting the engine on the boat and tune it up
