You will need to find the serial number for the engine. It should be mounted on the front or the side of the transom brackets.

No you do not need to ground all the wires. set the carbs initially at 1.5 turns

How do you adjust the throttle and shifter cables i have a low idle issue with my 96 88 special evinrude runs good at wot but idle is poor any ideas compression good carbs clean, any help would be great.
