  • I have a big problem with search results occuring dependent on your IP and therefore dependent on your viewing profile. to me it's an attack on your liberty to view what everyone else is viewing...I understand that commercially they may do it to offer up to my eyes results which may be more likely to result in me clicking blah blah but yeah...I think it's violative and the capability may also work in turn as a form as viewer specific censorship

  • General apathy? I could fill the Laurentian abyss with the apathy is the united states. Facebook follows you around too, not as bad as google does, but Facebook's logging of your web visits is worse because they know so much about you while google just knows everywhere you go but doesn't contain the amount of personal information Facebook does.

  • Google, Fox, Myspace, Youtube, Facebook and many others own your personally created content and can use it in many ways. Do we care as much as we should? Do we have much choice if we want to use these overly popular social networking sites? IS the New World Order as imminent as we think? Indisputably, certain parts of our rights are given up when we electronically click I agree or I accept.
