8233 (48773) on SVR - March to June 1989

8233 on the Severn Valley Railway between March and June 1989.
8233 is seen on 19th March approaching the summit of Highley Bank shortly after leaving Highley station, and going towards Highley at the site of Alveley sidings, which is also the location of the present day Country Park Halt, which wasn't built until the mid 1990's.
8233 is then seen on 23rd April (Sunday of the Spring Gala weekend) shortly after leaving Bewdley southwards, on 2nd June climbing out of Knowlesands Tunnel, on 3rd June climbing towards Knowlesands Tunnel with the Freight Train and on 25th June passing Northwood Halt towards Arley again with the Freight Train.

Thanks very much for your compliment. It means a lot to me, especially as when I filmed all my footage, I never intended it to be seen by anyone other than myself, so I didn't make any effort to use a proper tripod to avoid camera shake and so on. Cheers!

cool freight your channel makes the late 80s/1990 look like the best preservation moments ever especially for the severn valley i mean we hardley ever get 8Fs on freight nowerdays only 48305 and 48151 on mk1s
