Franchitti ahead into the bend. Didn't move over on Sato, just didn't give him room to pass easily. There's a difference.

Got a friend who knows someone who works PR for Indy. He says Ashley Judd is the rudest person you could ever meet. She thinks everyone owes her something. She is NOT the person you see on TV, and they have to practically beg Dario to stay a little longer to sign autographs. If he's not getting paid for it, he won't stay. Definetly NOT a Dan Wheldon. He loved his fans and would willingly stay to make sure they all got an autograph. He never forgot where he came from.

No driver would choose to win under a yellow than a green, that's a given. But he can choose to have the humility to know he won all three 500s by default, because they ended with cautions. Franchitti is either far too arrogant or embarrassed to realize that though, I'm leaning towards the former. I think my problem lies in IndyCar's lack of a green white checker finish rule as much as Franchitti's overwhelming good luck though. A race ending with a processional seems a little redundant to me.

Exactly how is that an uninformed comment? Every 500 he has won has ended with a caution period. His three wins would be more commendable if other drivers had been allowed to fight him to the finish line.

@LotusDriver260 Nope - you have it all wrong. Sato made an error in trying to pass too soon - even the commentators said so. Dario even gave him room but Sato went too far below lost traction and hit Dario's car. Your juvenile rhetoric is not impressive and it's rather pathetic that some idiots don't like a successful driver. Nothing dirty about Dario at all - other drivers need to learn better race craft.

the only error sato made was trying to pass the sports biggest asshole dirty dario has wrecked people before just look at last season he took out will power twice. earlier this season he took out newgarden when newgarden was trying to pass. just face it dario is dirty. also everyone knows if Sato had shoved dario into the grass you know damn well ganASSi would be crying for sato to be penalized and Sato most likely would have been penalized simply because ganassi was complaining
