A shorter version of my 'Very stretchy Cast-on for Double and Single Ribbing'. To see the longer version see Tillybuddy's YouTube channel. This is a very stretchy cast-on suitable for socks, hats and wherever you need a stretchy edge

  • I have been using the "other" version of yours for almost everything I make, regardless of ribbing, and will be putting a link to your videos when I post my patterns! Thanks so much!

  • @hollyjo00 Glad you like it and thanks for letting me know

  • I love this cast on also. I have been using it for the mittens I am making for some girls that come through my crossing. I am a school crossing guard and I see kids that do not have mittens when it gets cold. So I try to help when I can by making a few pairs.

  • @Daylilydayzed1 Thanks for the feedback - glad you like it. The kids are lucky to have you to knit for them.

  • I love this cast-on tutorial. Just what I need for the tops of my knitted socks.
