absolute insanity i used to do this in any car i was driving 35 years ago ... would hit 70-75 mph maybe more
would hit brakes by anderson ave light. go by there and see what i mean

On my way down every day, starting at the top flashing light by the church, with no one in front of me, no brakes at all (not even tapping) my honda cr-v will hit 65 to 70 by the dip and slow up to about 35 ish after the dip to the intersection light. I can't even imagine on a board. To anyone who does not know this hill, this vid doesn't do it justice. This us sickness. I did it on a bmx once without breaking and thought it was nuts. Great job!

Im down to longboard some beastly hills. I live near Toms River. I go up to neptune to find decent hills. Nothing like this video though, all short hills but they can be very steep
but the board starts out at zero and peaks at about 45 (on that road)... and around 45 mph the wind resistance prevents you from going faster. Let's put it this way, it takes and extraordinary hill to go faster than 50 mph... fastest I have seen is 60... world record is like 83. But Closter Dock is a good drop for sure!

that intersection at the end was Anderson Ave... if you time the light just right, you can blow through the intersection and hit the next drop that carries you all the way to County Road. I ain't no physicist but the car accelerates differently than a skateboard and where the skateboarder seems to have a much lower terminal velocity. You probably hit the drop already going 35-40 in the car and the dynamics takes it up to 70mph...
