I recently went to a Deaf event and met lots of new people. I really enjoyed myself. My Professor Christie Cohn recently went to a Medical Interpreting Workshop and came back with a whole mess of medical classifiers. I tried to remember most of them in order to share with all of you. I show the heart- if it has a clogged artery, the brain- how you can separate the different parts, the buttocks- for a colonoscopy, and also the woman's uterus- for fertilization of an egg and the growth of a baby. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

  • @ASL8306 thank you. i understand what you mean because when my teacher taught us that, i asked the same thing but she said that its the clearest way of putting it for a Deaf client. i definitely accept and take in what she's told me because she is one of the most wonderful interpreters i have ever met, and i am not just saying that because she has been my professor various times. :] hope that clarifies it. thanks for watching

  • Cool and informative. Wondering why you spelled 'ass' instead of 'butt' and doing the CL for that; just seems unnecessary... just curious. Thanks and happy learning
