One last question, will any kind of clover oil work as long as it says "Eugenia caryophyllata Aromatherapeutic"? Or what brand do you recommend? Thanks!

@ChiliPepper37 Eugenol (clove oil)10 drops per liter (dissolve first in a small quantity of
warm water ...go to the pharmacy and ask for it. your pharmacist will know which brand he sells that is pure clove oil/EUGENOL

How do you anesthetize the fish do you put the clove oil in the water or rub the fish with it. If you respond to this it would be very helpful.

Eugenol (clove oil)10 drops per litre (dissolve first in a small quantity of
warm water ...you put the fish in the clove oil and water solution just until he starts to tip over. Do the trimming then put him in fresh water to recover...Too long and he can pass, so just long enough to relax him...then work fast and get him to fresh water
