A Georgia moon and a mason jar,
with a night fallin' down,
I'm sittin' out on the front porch stoop

The moon's a comin' up

with a Georgia Moonshine chasin'

'cause it's a cold day
but a bright blue flame says it
won't be tonight.
All my friends and my drinkin' buddies can
drop in another time,

Another day and the Moonshines down
as the sun begins to Crown,

need another round.
So I cap the bottle and I crack a jar
