Dogness needs some surgery. Many have asked about TNP "dogness," Allie the Mountain Dog and how she's doing. I Tweeted that she has possible knee issues and needs an expensive surgery. I consulted with two veterinarians and this vid shows our visit with the second and the results the x-rays I had taken. I will use him and his associated surgeon to do the work. I was really worried she had developed hip dysplasia. We discuss the findings on that here and it seems to be good news. She is able to walk and hike at walking speeds without any problems but her running regime has been on hold for over two months as I tried to detect improvement. Nope, she needs fixin'. Her surgery will be scheduled soon and hopefully get her back to 100%. She is a an adventure veteran in TNP and within our family, having gone on many hardcore adventures and outings. We're keeping fingers crossed that we find exactly what's wrong and fix it.////////////////////Note: Many TNPrs contributed generously to Allie's surgery and we are grateful and humbled by your concern for her and helping us. With the surgery over and donations made, we ask that no more are given for this purpose. We gratefully acknowledge your help and thank you for it.

  • @counkev Nutn didn't plan on turning this into a video...he just filmed it in case he wanted to remind himself of the details later on. Since then, we've been asked about Allie so much since Nutn tweeted about her that he decided to use the footage in a video. -- Veri

  • I got goosebumps at 3:50, his relief shows just how much Allie is loved. She is in goods hands, and I can't wait to she her back at 100%.

  • You remind me of Tom Hanks. Like in Saving Private Ryan. cool.

  • So glad Allie the dog is well today after the video clip.

  • @MrNateman89 be thankful every dad got it's talents and hobbies whether it's programming, music, outdoors, games, business, tutoring, etc.

  • Thats the problem with labs, their hips normally wear down pretty quick

  • How did you train your dog so well.

  • my dog just had both his back knees replaced. I was pissed when it was so damn expensive, but we now call him the "5 thousand dollar dog" He's a few months out from the surgeries (one happened while recovering from the other, he favored his "good" leg too much and blew out his acl) i got a "discount" the second time, i "saved" $1000 on the second surgery cause i had just been in there a few weeks ago. Hes up and running again, i just cant run him on sand or anything to be safe

  • @counkev Dude you are a Internet troll and I am not going to have a fight with you over something this silly.
