  • @EternityVampyr hey thanks

  • @Dense1714 I feed my cat a food called "HiLife", which is 60% meat with no grains or any sort of filler. Not sure if you can get this in the US? There are a few US brands I know of that are very good: Blue Buffalo, Innova EVO, Orijen (this is a dry food), Felidae and Wellness. I'm not sure on the price but these all have good sources of meat in them and don't have any grains in at all! Some have Brown Rice in which is better than grains and corn and is easier to digest :)

  • @EternityVampyr ....hey if u have a cat what food do u buy?...or what brand do u recommend ...

  • Best food: The ones with a high Named meat content (listed as Chicken, Turkey, Duck, Beef etc.). Its best to stay away from Meat Meals, By Product Meal, Animal Digest (this could have euthanized animals in). Grains, cereals, Wheat and Corn (especially By Products and Gluten) you should stay well away from as cats cannot digest these easily - cats are made to eat meat, so have trouble with carbohydrates. Corn, Wheat and Soy are also well-known for causing food allergies in cats, also.

  • You should NEVER soak dry food in water and then leave it for an extended period of time, unless you want to poison the kittens. Bacteria can still be found in dry food (even the rigorous cooking process doesn't kill it all off), and soaking the food in water will encourage the bacteria to grow - which could be incredibly dangerous for the kittens. If you *must* soften the biscuits, don't leave it out for more than 20 minutes - but you may as well feed them a high-meat wet food instead.

  • Kittens are sweet little critters. Whitman Donaldson's helper told me that she owns 3 kittens.

  • bull

dry food is the worst thing.

any wet food is better...you can make it yourself

AND WHY WOULD I NOT WANT MY KITTEN TO EMPTY HIS BOWELS OFTEN?

    that;s nonsense...

  • thanks

  • It would help if she named a brand that was the best. I don't know what brand has the filler in it.

  • this info was of no use to me none of it is!ive been told so many diffrent things about them i dont know what to believe?!
