Imune system does not recognise wich protein is domestic or not. Learn about Leukocytosis(the imune cells that attacks the foods after you eat). But If U eat more than 50 % in every meal fresh salads lets say ...you are safe from this. Animal protein, more processed food & white blood cells increses more, and after a while they attack your own proteins from organs or skin. If we try to find a pill that allows us to eat processed & animal foods and cure a desease, it's not gonna happen.Wake up !

I have heard you actually may be able to catch lupus if there are specific factors in a persons DNA but they aren't sure yet. Is that true?

@tzotz87 No they are completely opposite. People with Aids have a lowered immune system and it's infectious. You can't catch Lupus from someone. It is an autoimmune disease, which means the immune system is in overdrive, and attacks the body.
