This is RJ Mabilin's take on political killings. Eden Marcellana was a friend of the group Southern Tagalog Exposure while they were shooting their documentary, Echo of Bullets. She was killed before they even finished their documentary.

Here is the simple logic for CPP, NPA NDF

People doesnt want communism,

But JOMA and company insist the ideology

trough NPAs arm struggle and NDFs

hypocrisy, innocents murdered.

Government moved to protect

National interest and civilian

And communist PESTS

called it human rights violation.

fyi, this is not a news story. we are fighting for a cause - an advocacy. showing the other side is not necessary. did you ever ask for the other side of the story when it comes to advocacy videos or public service ads on aids, poverty, etc? this is no different. we are making a stand. and it is only natural that we air OUR SIDE. the other side have more resources and media coverage than those who are oppressed. AND WE CHOOSE TO FIGHT FOR THE OPPRESSED.

what's so special about the oppressed that you fight for them anyway?

why not for the nerds who are bullied by the jocks? why not for the kikays who are often mocked for their vanity? why not for the endangered species that are hunted to the brink of extinction? i guess those endangered species have lesser resources compared to your oppressed.

meaning, you are no better than the other side. the two of you are just that: opposing sides fighting for the loot of society, just happened that they are the ones in power while you are picking up the crumbs. sore losers.

it's just like watching tom and jerry cartoons: two parties battling it out -- no real protagonist and antagonist. No one is right or wrong, just competitors or enemies.

too bad, if Nietzsche were still alive he would have a lot to laugh at.
