@SenorMateo2011 I understand. Sometimes hotels abroad are quite different than what we expect in the US too. Thanks for sharing your feedback, we're always trying to improve our product! Take care

I stayed there with on an EF tour in 2008, and it was my favorite part of the trip. Of course you're not going to be staying in the Ritz- the only way there is by a long boat ride. But thanks for posting the video. It's neat to see the places I went. And I don't mean to sound like too much a a dick.
Also, I believe the rope is for the Howler monkeys; we saw them using it a lot during our visit.

@ehemmila Oh I know, I wasn't expecting super fancy hotels. I was just a bit shocked at this one, as it wasn't anything like their website had advertised. Their room service was also just adding two towels to our room. They have a small staff and a lot of rooms, so I understand. And I completely know what you mean when you say that it is neat to see places you have been on Youtube. :-) I never thought about the rope being for howler monkeys either. That makes sense!

Sorry to hear you weren't satisfied with the hotel but glad you had a great trip. Thank for sharing, Katie from EF

@efeducationaltours Looking back, it wasn't too bad. I was just expecting more after seeing their website. The food, however, was absolutely amazing, and the people were so friendly.

@DjinjiTheCat Looking back, it wasn't bad. The rooms weren't the way they were advertised on their website. It was kind of scary when our bathroom lights didn't work and we couldn't see anything, and it also didn't help that one of the teachers on the trip constantly reminded us that a jaguar could pop out and kill us.
