This tutorial explains how to create and pay for residence protection in Minecraft using the Residence and iConomy plug-ins which are currently installed on the fantastic Cubeville server (cubeville.org), and also a few extra things like creating messages and additional player build permissions.

NOTE: When you name your residence, you can't have spaces between words. For example, YouTube is fine, but You Tube wouldn't work... it would just return an "invalid residence" error.

  • Error: You don't have permission for this Help!!

  • @XsNiPeRxXz Are you playing on Cubeville, or some other server? Or are you even playing on multiplayer? If you're not, then this video doesn't apply to you. If you're playing on multiplayer on a server other than Cubeville, then it probably has its own unique set of rules and regulations regarding the use of residences... if it even has the Residence plug-in installed. Gonna need a lot more information to help you.

  • @pikeman327 No, I'm the owner of my own Minecraft 1.0.0 Bukkit Server

  • @XsNiPeRxXz Ah. Ok, then I'd recommend asking on Bukkit's Residence page, since I've personally never set up or installed any plug-ins on a server before. I know how to use Residence once it's installed, but for help with the actual installation and set-up it's probably better to go to the source.

  • can i get the ip please ?!

  • @smokemeQ8 It's just cubeville dot o r g (for some reason YouTube won't let me post a reply if it has the actual period in the link).

  • Thanks so much, Subbed!

  • @pikeman327 nvm it isnt 1 then

  • @BirdmanGraal Depends on the server, but on Cubeville you type /cprivate and then click the thing you want to protect (chests, furnaces, doors, hatches, dispensers, signs). Those aren't land protections though, so they don't really fall under the same category as what this video is talking about.

  • @99Bueller I honestly have no idea what that means.
