The Suite in A minor for violin and orchestra (here arranged for piano), composed by Christian Sinding, was a sort of "update" of baroque music into the early to mid 1900s. The first movement especially was made famous when Heifetz recorded it, taking the presto marking of the first movement quite literally. This movement is actually quite melodic, while also fierce, bold, and brilliant.

This performance took place in the concert hall of BU, College of Fine Arts, in November 30th, 2010. The performers are Taichi Fukumura (violin) and Phil Oliver (Piano).
