Simple way to make a jacobs ladder with 12V lighting transformer. These transformers work excellent and are proberly cheaper than building a driver anyways!! Just wrap 6 turns of insulated wire around the ferrite core and wire them into the 12V side of the electronic transformer. The lower wattage transformers may burn out quick so try and get one rated for 60 to 105 Watts like in the video, and any flyback from a tv or monitor.
