Yeah I just did this with OEM filters which aren't represented in this video. The OEM's have a plastic edge that feeds into the rails and is MUCH harder to put in than these flimsy paper filters. I had to use my hand to push on the end of the filter to feed it up into the upper area of the glove compartment.

Yes, the OE filters from MINI USA have the plastic rails and are made from the same materials as these OEM Filters represented here, we switched to these simple because for a lot of do-it-yourself individuals out there were having issues with the rails breaking upon installation, these do not display that problem.

@528im52 yeah i have the oem filter and a bosch filter without plastic the oem filter with the plastic was a pain to put in so before i brake anything i tried the filter with out the plastic it worked great i just wanted to ask you the filter without the plastic does it work as good as the oem filter with the plastic

@jessellanos787 Yes, the Bosch filters are a great replacement for the OE filters that came in the MINI's.
