The age of consent varies between 13 - 18 by prefecture in Japan. Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka are three prefectures. The only age of consent published on the internet is of Tokyo (age = 17). I guess only someone living in Japan could find out the respective age for their prefecture by asking the local police office wherever they live.
